Iowa City Book Festival is to feature a reading of Moby-Dick. The festival includes a long list of literature-inspired events. Each year, University of Iowa professor Anna Barker organizes an event where locals read aloud an entire classic novel outside. This year, Herman Melville's Moby-Dick will be read aloud in front of the Old Capitol on Oct. 10 and 11, with the book being finished Oct. 12 inside Macbride Hall under the Museum of Natural History's giant whale skeleton.
